José Emeterio Gutiérrez brings more than four decades of global leadership across the nuclear industry to Momentum Power. He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Westinghouse Electric Company, the world's largest nuclear technology provider, where he held full P&L, operational, and functional responsibility across the company's global portfolio.
Prior to leading Westinghouse, Mr. Gutiérrez served as Senior Vice President of the company's global Nuclear Fuel and Components Manufacturing organization, providing nuclear fuel, fuel-handling equipment, large nuclear components, and global supply chain services to utilities worldwide. He earlier led Westinghouse's operations across Southern Europe, spanning Spain, Slovenia, Italy, Bulgaria, and Romania, and served as Regional Vice President for Spain. Before joining Westinghouse, he spent more than two decades at ENUSA Industrias Avanzadas in Spain, where, among other responsibilities, he oversaw the Juzbado Manufacturing Plant and served as the company's principal interface with the Spanish Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Mr. Gutiérrez served as Chairman of the Spanish Nuclear Society and has been a member of Foratom, the European Atomic Forum, and the European Nuclear Society. He holds a Civil Engineering degree from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and maintains an extensive worldwide network with direct access to senior executives across the global energy sector.
